Successful applicant in round 16 

The purpose of applying for this development opportunity was to expand on my professional techniques and workshop programming delivery so that I am confident in providing socially engaged/sustainable fashion for action practice workshops.

Discover Young Hackney 2022

Successful grant application in collaboration with Children with Voices.  Received funding to deliver free sustainable fashion, Film & TV and Music Production workshops. Hackney Council’s Discover Young Hackney Programme took place this August to help young people ages 13-19 and up to 25 with SEND discover their careers in the arts. Project Evaluation

UNV Upcycling Competition 2021

In collaboration with UNV Enactus, student designers were asked to create new clothes using only unwanted ones.

WM x Slow Factory Design Challenge 2021/22

Working with Waste Management and powered by Slow Factory, 6 participants have been chosen to engage in a 9-month challenge to create design solutions for fashion products, materials or systems that embrace regenerative practices.

 

Prize: Funding and showcasing of work at the 2022 WM Sustainability Forum.
